It is possible to find meaning, resilience, and grace within the grieving process. Graceful Grief is a series 8 of virtual support sessions for anyone interested in deepening the grief experience to find more grace and peace. Each session will have a focus relative to one of the many unique facets of grief, and will include grief education, coping strategies, meditation, and dialogue for shared empathy and healing. Workshops are offered approximately every two months through January 2027 (attend as many as are relevant to your needs). Denial is often noted as the first stage of grief. When a loss-related transition sparks a grief experience, the ability to remain deliberately present, awake, and aware may be eclipsed by a natural defense mechanism called denial. During this workshop, we will explore the ways denial can help or hinder us while facing loss.

Facilitator, Aleia N. O’Reilly – LMT, AM (she/her) is a massage therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, writer, hospice educator, and wellness guide. She has been teaching and practicing wellness and healing arts for over forty years.
