On October 26, 2006 Further Shore held its first annual Fund Raiser “That’s Life ~ A Bone Dance” at the Canyon Clubhouse in Forest Highlands. The black and white themed ball featured the music of Clarence Clearwater and Limbs Akimbo, a delicious Mexican Buffet, and huge silent auction. Attendees brought photos of their departed loved ones, and created a beautiful memorial altar to honor and celebrate them. Funds raised provide education, support, and respite for people facing serious or chronic illness and end of life concerns. Further Shore also provides prehospice information and grief support.
